When Darkness Comes

I updated a ton of my old surveys and put a picture of me and Brandon on my My Friends page. Enjoy!

Well my friends….If you haven’t already noticed…I’ve added little graphics picture thing to the sidebar. I found them on this site: Unique Graphics. It’s awesome. There’s so many more sites for them!! I think I’m obsessed. Anyhoo…Expect me to be posting a ton on here. Just thought I’d let you know!

Well I’ve remodeled When Darkness Comes. I found this template, and it fits me a lot better. The only thing is, when I had Internet Explorer (I now have MozllaFirefox for my web browser) the links on the left ended up in the middle of everything, overlapping with my posts. If you have this problem I don’t know what to say. I highly recommend Mozilla Firefox instead of Internet Explorer. Not as many problems, absoutely NO pop-ups, faster page browsing, and it’s FREE. So anyways, let me know if you have the link problem!

Well I got a good idea today to put an architecture category on my blog. In there, I will feature HOTD (House Of The Day), information about CAED (CalPoly Aechitecture and Environmental Design), my favorite architects, and maybe some miscellaneous stuff as well. Let me know what you think about this category, as I’m sort of skeptical about it and how you guys will like it, since I’m sure none of you really care. Lol. I think it’s a great idea, though. But let me know what you think. Enough rambling.

I think I’ll list all the things that make this blog different from my old site.

There’s a different comment option so you can leave a comment after every post that I write.
The navigation is easier (for me) and I made better categories.
I’ll be updating this blog practically every day because it’s more of a daily what I did today thing.
It has a “more” link for most posts so you can see a summary of each one before you read the whole thing.
It won’t be as personal with my life, seeing as a lot of people have found the old site and I have more people viewing it than I’d like.
It will be more personal with my hobbies.
I enjoy this blog a lot more and understand it more, seeing as I’ve been working with this blogging host on my Sims 2 blog for about a month now.

That’s really all I can think of now! I really believe that this blog is a lot better than my old site. I hope you agree!

Well I got kinda sick of the old When Darkness Comes because the options I had on Tripod were very minimal and it was too confusing to figure out. I’m hoping that this site will be a lot easier for me! Bare with me right now though, I’m just getting started with this blog so I still have to transfer all my stuff and get things organized, which knowing me, that might take a while. But it should be complete within a week for sure! The theme isn’t the greatest, but it’s the only template farthest from pink, purple, or yellow that they had to offer. (Only one that worked, anyways.) I hope I can find something that works that isn’t so simple and doesn’t have a pen at the top. Lol. For now this will have to do. Keep checking back, though!
